I. Retractile steel union

Retractile unions are upgraded production of pneumatic unions developed by Empire.

1. Features: Assembly and disassembly can be quickly done on site, reducing workers’ labor intensity and well construction period.

2. Media for delivery: Clean water, drilling fluid (with contents of oil, acid and alkali).

3. Media temperature: 0°C~80°C

4. Ambient temperature: -40°C~+55°C

5. Max. sealing pressure (fluid pressure in pipeline): 1.0MPa

 

II. Pneumatic tyre union

1. Structure: steel shell and pneumatic tyre.

2. Features: (1) Low centering requirements in installation, allowing quick installation and sealing without centering.

(2) The pipe can be removed once pneumatic tyre releases pressure, with no tools required. Good adaptability and easy maintenance and repair.

3. Use: It is widely used in pipelines that have low pressure, large diameter, large malposition and require frequent assembly and disassembly, especially applicable to connection between slurry tanks of the control system in drilling industry.

4. Working temperature: -45°C~+50°C

5. Max. sealing pressure (fluid pressure in pipeline): 0.4MPa

6. Tyre restoration time after pressure is released: 1~3s

III. Self-sealing hose connector

Self-sealing hose connectors are produced from materials that completely meet US ASTM and AISI standards and corrosion protections have been provided on all products and parts.

1. Series: Steel-ball quick-fitting self-sealing connector, three-jaw self-sealing union pipe connector, and pin key insertion self-sealing connector.

2. Features: (1) It automatically opens after installation and closes when removed, preventing overflow of media in the pipeline that may contaminate environment and saving operation costs. It also protects the pipeline and equipment from mechanical damages by invasion of sand and dust and reduces accident hazards. The pipe connectors are easy to install and reduces the work intensity and time required.

(2) Good resistance to high pressure, reliable sealing effect, uniform standards and good interchangeability.

(3) Cardan self-sealing connectors realize automatic adjustment according to connection direction. Pipes are in good order and fatigue strength of the pipeline is reduced.
