I. Structure
Framework oil seal is composed of oil seal, reinforcement framework and self-tight spiral spring.
II. Types
1. By structure: single-lip framework oil seal and double-lip framework oil seal.
2. By framework: Concealed framework oil seal, exposed framework oil seal and assembly type oil seal.
3. By working conditions: Rotary framework oil seal and reciprocating framework oil seal.

IV. Features
1. Good resistance to heat, abrasion and media, good strength and long service life.
2. Limited pressure capacity on normal oil seals, which is usually 0.03MPa. If higher pressure capacity is required, HP oil seal or other sealing methods should be used (usually 1MPa).
V. Use
Framework oil seal is installed on crankshafts, camshafts, gearboxes, differential mechanism, dampers, engines, axle, cylinder and front/rear wheels on heavy-duty engines, automobile engines and diesel engines, to prevent medium leakage and entry of foreign objects. It is widely used in industries of aviation, construction machinery, railway, automobile, shipbuilding, and household appliances.
